Café Van Zanten
If you walk across the Meent, you can’t miss Van Zanten. It is really a concept and the terrace of Rotterdam. One of the nicest brown cafes with a huge terrace, in the middle of the city. The ideal place to people watch and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city. In addition to good beers, they also have a delicious lunch menu.

Croos
In the green Nieuw-Crooswijk you will find the great Croos. The perfect place to have lunch on the terrace. They have sandwiches and the best coffee. After your lunch you can order a homemade cake, highly recommended! At the weekend you can also go there for a nice drink. You can make a reservation or just walk by and see if there is a spot.

NRC
The Witte de Withstraat is the famous nightlife street in Rotterdam. Our favorite Nieuw Rotterdams Café is located in this street full of cozy terraces. This old editorial office of the NRC has now been transformed into a restaurant and terrace in Rotterdam. Here you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. The poke bowls are especially delicious! Most snacks are vegan, super tasty and very nice for vegetarians. The burgers on the menu are special and have an extra twist, such as brie and green asparagus on the burger. In addition to the good food, they have draft beers, cocktails and good wines. Enough choice for everyone!

Prachtig
Prachtig (literally: Beautiful) is a special terrace on the Maas. In the sun you have a beautiful view of the Erasmus Bridge, Willems Bridge and Kop Van Zuid. From delicious gin to wine with tasty snacks. In addition to a drink, they also serve delicious coffee with cake from Koekela. Prachtig is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 11:30 pm.

Fenix Foodfactory
The Fenix Foodfactory belongs to Rotterdam entrepreneurs who love well-made, tasty food and give it their own twist. Here you can taste, shop and learn how products are made. It’s a nice place and you have a large terrace outside where you can taste everything inside. Enjoy a delicious sandwich from Jordy’s Bakery or a nice wine from Blije Wijnen in the sun.

Biergarten
Behind the Schieblock near Rotterdam Central you will find Biergarten. A large terrace in Rotterdam surrounded by various entertainment venues, such as Annabel and Poing Arcade. Perfect to have a drink before going out or just to have a drink, but don’t want to make it too late. The name says it all, but Biergarten is completely open air and there are several bars where you can get a drink. There are plenty of places to sit or stand. Besides beers, they also have delicious burgers.

Dudok
Everyone knows Dudok from the delicious apple pie and the location on the Meent. Since 2018, a second location has been added in Rotterdam. Dudok In Het Park is located in a national monument. You sit in a park, but at the same time on the edge of the city with a view of the Euromast. You can enjoy the sandwiches, salads and of course the cakes in the sun.
